...you need one of these great books. Every boy and girl should have one of these. There are all sorts of ways for youngsters to amuse themselves in these books. What kids did in the old days is still fun today. American boys can make fishing tackle, build kites, stock an aquarium and lots of other boy (and girl) stuff. In the American Girls Handy Book we see girls can work on all sorts of fun projects too. The book written by the Beard sisters, two of the founders of the Girl Scouts has projects for every occasion.
Then there is the Field and Forest Handy Book and the Book of Camp-Lore and Wood Craft. Great fun for everyone.
